President & Licensed General Contractor

Britney Mroczkowski is a Licensed Florida General Contractor and the founder of Build It Brit, Inc., a woman-owned construction company specializing in high-quality commercial tenant buildouts, retail construction, and complex remodels. Her construction career began as Vice President of Retail Development at BTI Partners, where she oversaw all retail development for the Westshore Marina District in Tampa, one of the region’s most transformative waterfront communities.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in development and construction management, Britney leads her team with a strong focus on communication, precision, and accountability. From coordinating subcontractors to navigating permitting and ensuring timelines are met, she brings a solutions-first mindset and field expertise to every jobsite.

Britney is proud to be part of a new generation of women leaders in construction. In addition to holding her general contractor license, she has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and has been recognized as a TBBJ 40 Under 40 Honoree and a Business Observer 40 Under 40 Honoree for her leadership and impact across the industry.

Director of Construction

Larry is a strategic real estate professional with over 24 years of varying real estate and construction experience and involvement in over $320 million in related projects. Larry’s experience includes construction, operations management, project management, lending (debt), raising capital, real estate investing and more. Larry brings an array of value to any team and project with a versatile skill set in building and implementing processes, estimating, scheduling, cost analysis/management, quality control, construction, and more. Additionally, he is adept at developing and managing client relationships to build lasting and trusting affiliations.

Larry earned a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida as well as a Masters Degree with a concentration in Finance, International Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida. He has served as a board member for the YMCA as well as President for the USF College of Business Alumni Association. 

Larry is married with two children that keep him busy coaching soccer, hockey, martial arts, volleyball, and basketball throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Region.

Superintendant

Aaron Carson brings 18 years of construction experience to the Build It Brit team. He began his career with a custom home builder, honing his expertise in quality craftsmanship and project management. For over a decade, Aaron managed a multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio, serving as an in-house construction manager for a private family.

In November 2024, Aaron joined Build It Brit as Superintendent, where his extensive experience and dedication to excellence ensure the successful execution of our projects.

Purchasing 

Larry Sr. is a seasoned veteran in the Single Family Real Estate field with over 40 years of experience. Larry Sr. has extensive experience in personally investing in and buying over 300 single family residential homes for rehab to retail and/or or building a portfolio of rentals. In addition, Larry Sr. has over 20 years of construction management experience by managing over 300 rehabs/construction projects throughout it career.

In addition, Larry Sr. has managed single family rental properties for over 15 years in various asset classes. Furthermore,  Larry Sr. has lent and arranged various purchase, construction, refinance and private money loans for over 15 years to round out his real estate experience.

Larry Sr. brings decades of experience to the Built It Brit team providing timeless input on market insites and strategies.

Chief Barking Officer

Pony joined the team in 2024 and oversees site planning from the comfort of her plush bed in the company truck. She specializes in tail-wagging approvals, mid-day morale boosts, and surprise meeting cameos to remind the team what really matters. 

Pony is especially proud that the team builds Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming locations throughout Florida’s West Coast—her favorite place to shop (and snack)!
